June 2002 - FlyMexico Hotel Opens - El Meson del Viento

FlyMexico is proud to announce the opening of Meson del Viento. This news is from Valle de Bravo, Mexico to the free flight community and our friends worldwide. Meson del Viento (House of the Wind), the newest and best hotel in Valle de Bravo, is in operation and serving the lodging, dining, relaxation and recreation needs of visitors to this beautiful location. Pilots will enjoy the fact that their needs were considered in the design, construction and operation of Meson del Viento. The hotel has 12 rooms in 4 classes of luxury including a suite. Dining is available on site from Peacock´s kitchen and the Bistro has bar service to the restaurant, pool, and garden.  

FlyMexico tour packages will have more lodging options now. Reserved space for our clients and better price at Meson del Viento. Packages are normally in and out on a Sunday and the two co-located houses in the Casa Cabrones Complex will still be in service. Drop ins still welcome but space is not assured.  

The flying season in Valle de Bravo is year round but at its best in Winter - December through April. Two launches prevail – El Peñon del Diablo and La Torre. Here is a foot launch heaven, XC delight, with conditions for all levels of experience, and flying every day, you just have to love it. The FlyMexico team is there to facilitate your flying vaction  with 10 years of tour operations. Alejandro and Paola Olazabal and Jeff Hunt work together for coordinating flying and our expertise extends to the needs of spouses or families. Flying tour packages include transportation in and out of Mexico City airport as well as transportation and guiding in Valle.
